As the only private practice International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) between Edmonton and Grande Prairie, I am dedicated to helping you prepare for the best breastfeeding relationship with your baby.

Seeking out support prenatally is the best way to ensure a great start to nursing your new babe. While it may be natural, it doesn’t always come naturally and knowing what to expect and how to deal with the most common challenges before they become overwhelming. No one needs the extra stress in the days after birth.

What is a lactation Consultant?

A lactation consultant is a health professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. The International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners certifies lactation consultants who meet its criteria and have passed its exam.

For Expecting Parents, New Parents & Their Families

Breastfeeding Assessments

This service is for all first time lactation visits and is in person only.  These sessions are comprehensive appointments which includes a variety of questions, measurements and observations of both mama and infant.

Prenatal Education Sessions

Get the practical information on breastfeeding that you need before you need it.  This breastfeeding specific education gives the parents the tools to start their journey confidently.

Grandparent & Partner Education Sessions

If you are a partner or grandparent with no idea how to support your loved one while they learn to breastfeed the new arrival, these are the sessions you need.

Infant & Child CPR

This non-certificate workshop is a facilitated in office session for up to two people.
